Eric Holsapple - VOLUNTEER

In Jan 2020 three of us travelled to Tanzania with Georgia to deliver malaria nets and water filters.  Georgia (aka Momma Africa) was a great guide and so knowledgeable about the place and it’s people.  We made a huge difference and had a great time seeing the country and experiencing the culture at the same time.  I highly recommend this project and if possible, the trip experience.  I am truly grateful.  Eric Holsapple, Living in the Gap -- Dr. Eric J. This is a worthy project that has impacted the lives & health of the people in these villages. When Georgia Evan’s first saw the muddy, contaminated drinking water the villagers had to drink she was horrified. Her compassion activated her creative mind to find a solution. Her story is fascinating and she has now made several trips to Africa to give the gift of water filter systems that she teaches them to use that provides clean clear contamination free water for these precious people to drink. She also gives them nets for sleeping that provides needed protection from mosquitoes that carry diseases such as malaria.

I was part of the group on Georgia’s first trip to Tanzania. Watching her instructing the Masai village leaders on how to use the water purification tanks she brought to donate was incredibly eye opening and inspirational. I have to admit to feeling completely ignorant at the time but the experience of traveling through Africa and being educated by people like Georgia was one of the most educational experiences of my life.

I had the privilege to learn more about Georgia Evans clean water project today, “Into Africa”. What an incredible vision she has manifested, she is personally delivering community sized water filtration systems and malaria nets to Africa’s secluded villages. The water quality was absolutely horrifying, no human being should ever have to drink that disease infested water. The amazing thing is she buys and delivers these systems herself, she then teaches the elders of the villages how to use and maintain the system. This is definitely a cause worth getting behind! I have shared the go fund me page, this is a great opportunity to make a large impact with a small donation. I have committed to helping this cause, I hope you can too! if you would like to get more involved let me know!
