INTO AFRICA 2023

INTO AFRICA Presentation 2023

March 9th, 2023

from 6-7:30 pm.

Global Village Museum

200 West Mountain Avenue

Fort Collins CO  80521

globalvillagemuseum.org

Cost is $5 (goes to Global Village Museum) and light refreshments will be served.

Into Africa 2023 will be presented by Georgia Evans, President and Founder of the Village Care Project. The mission of VCP, a nonprofit based in Loveland, is to help indigenous African villagers, especially those in Tanzania.

We focus on women, who are the backbone of these villages. When you lift up and empower the women, the entire tribe benefits!

Village Care Project is a humanitarian group working with remote villages in developing countries to aid in public health, wellness and improving their quality of life.

Village Care Project distributes, demonstrates and educates remote African villagers on how to obtain clean, safe drinking water.

We distribute tarps to the villagers to waterproof their thatch and mud homes during the rainy monsoon seasons.

We distribute treated mosquito bed nets to help these villagers prevent malaria from mosquitoes, a very deadly problem in the regions we serve.

Plus, we distribute solar LED lanterns to help them light up their huts when the sun goes down.

We are also hoping to install wells in areas that are good candidates for clean water that will impact the most villagers.

VCP also accepts volunteers on this project. It is an amazing cultural experience.

Wildlife & Villager Photos by Georgia Evans will be available for sale and 100% benefit the Village Care Project. A donation box to benefit these villagers will also be available. To learn more about VCP go to villagecareproject.com

Reservations are strongly recommended at globalvillagemuseum.org as this program filled up rapidly last time.

• Plus, we distribute solar LED lanterns to help them light up their huts when the sun goes down.

• We are seeking funding to install wells in areas that are good candidates for drilling a well that will benefit local villagers.

VCP also accepts volunteers on our annual projects. It is an amazing cultural experience.
