Giving Tuesday is a worldwide event where people help make a difference by joining together in a global collective to create hope and healing.
At Village Care Project we count on the support of generous donors to help us buy, deliver, assemble, educate native villagers around the world to obtain clean drinking water. Water really is life! However remote native villagers in developing countries rarely have the option to drink clean water. They gather their water from anywhere that they can find; puddles, streams, rivers, lakes and often times they even have to dig a hole and scoop water out. This dirty water is full of dangerous diseases like giardia, cholera, dysentary, e coli and more. However Village Care Project is helping provide villagers with clean water filters so they can live healthy and productive lives.
Why support Village Care Project?
* We are a public international 501(c)3 non-profit organization -- your donation is 100% tax deductible as a charitable donation.
* We have a 100% volunteer staff, including the founder and all board members, so you can be sure that your entire donation will go to help families, women and children receive clean water solutions, mosquito bed nets in areas that need them, as well as other lifesaving tools that improve and save lives.
* Your dollars will go to run the actual cost of the projects with only a tiny fraction going to administrative costs such as this website and newsletter.
* We have helped give clean water and mosquito bed nets to thousands of villagers in remote African villages in Tanzania, Africa. We hope to be able to help many more native villagers around the world receive clean water solutions so they can live healthy and productive lives.
After visiting villagers we have also seen other needs that we can help with so many times our trips may include providing: mosquito nets that prevent malaria, tarps to help cover leaky mud and thatch huts from rain during monsoons, large bags of maize, rice and/or beans to help with food insecurity, small solar lanterns for school children so they can read to study at night, school fees for children so they can get a required uniform and get an education. These are just a few of the ways we are making an impact on villagers....one village at a time.
Will you join us today and help by making a life saving donation of clean water (and other tools) for good health for native villagers around the world? No donation is too small and it will be merged with many others to have a huge impact on the lives of villagers where contaminated water is their only option.
